What Is The Difference Between Oatmeal and Oatbran?

Although they have almost the same amount of calories and fat content, oatmeal and oat bran aren't without significant distinctions on their own. When it comes to fibre and protein content, it is evident that oat bran has greater amounts of the two. A typical cup of oatmeal is approximately 8 grams of fibre and 12g of protein compared to oat bran's 18 pounds of fibre and 20 grams of protein. But, when it comes to the other nutrients contents, the bran may be less nutritious than the oatmeal. The flour or grain was removed to create the bran, thereby leaving the bran devoid of certain nutrients originally found in the entire oat or grain. Though both were derived from whole oatmeal, they are different items after they have been through different processes.
